As African American owners who overcame challenging circumstances, we built this center to uplift children from all backgrounds.
By leveraging our diverse expertise and holistic approach, Augustus Dream Academy creates an enriching environment where children can grow into community leaders.
For our toddler spaces, we plan to have comfortable floor mats, age-appropriate toys, art supplies, and furniture suited for very young children. Safety is also critical. We will have safety gates, protective plugs for outlets not in use, and secure cabinets for cleaning supplies.
In our preschool classrooms for ages 3-5, we will furnish areas for imaginative play, building blocks and manipulative, and tools for early literacy and math. All materials will be chosen to nurture young minds through hands-on sensory exploration tailored to different developmental levels.
